About Directory Lead Extractor
Directory Lead Extractor is a Manifest V3 Chrome/Edge extension built for pulling business leads out of Yellow Pages-style directories — yellowpages.com, yellowpages.ca, yell.com, yellowpages.co.za, yellowpageskenya.com, and any other directory you point it at. Instead of hardcoding one site's HTML, it reads the schema.org/JSON-LD data directories already publish for Google, falls back to microdata and tel:/mailto: link harvesting, and lets you map any unlisted site yourself in about two minutes with a point-and-click selector tool. It follows pagination automatically (including sites with no "Next" link, just numbered pages), runs multi-page jobs from a background service worker so a run survives the popup closing, and de-duplicates by phone, website, and name+location before exporting a two-sheet Excel file with a frozen header, autofilter, and a summary tab documenting record counts and lawful-basis notes.
Key Features
- Extracts from Yellow Pages-style directories (with a point-and-click mapper for any other site)
- Automatic multi-page pagination, including sites with no "Next" link
- Pause, resume, and continue-to-page-N on long multi-page runs
- Three-layer extraction: JSON-LD, microdata, then CSS/tel:/mailto: harvesting
- Automatic de-duplication by phone, website, and name+location
- One-click export to a formatted .xlsx workbook with a summary sheet
Requirements
- Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Manifest V3)
- Works out of the box on yellowpages.com, yellowpages.ca, yell.com, yellowpages.co.za, and yellowpageskenya.com
- Any other directory can be mapped manually in the extension in about two minutes
